Our second annual Liz Houston Coaches Challenge pits the coaches of St. Aedan’s vs. the coaches of St. Margaret’s in basketball game to raise money for local charity. This years game will be held Saturday, March 13th at the Pearl River High School at 5pm followed by a party at the Masonic Temple in Pearl River from 8pm-12pm. Last year, we donated the proceeds to the Scleroderma Foundation in memory of Liz Houston.
This year, we have already donated advance proceeds to the Powers family of New City, to help defray the cost of their child’s funeral. Caitlyn Powers was a 4th grade girl, who participated in the CYO program for St. Francis and unfortunately suffered a brain aneurysm and passed away recently. Along with this donation, we are planning to purchase additional equipment for the gym.
We are offering $100 tickets to purchase in advance. This ticket will provide admittance for your family into the game, admittance for two into the after game party and a chance to win $10,000!! There are only 300 tickets being sold! The party will include music, food and an open bar of beer, wine and soda. It was a really fun night last year and we hope you will join us; please contact your child's coach for a raffle ticket. All the coaches at St. Aedan's have been asked to sell a block of 5 tickets. REMEMBER! BUYING A TICKET MIGHT WIN YOU $10,000 CASH! Thank you and I hope to see you there!!
